After a good walk with Hilary and Phil yesterday, up on the
old path to Kathero and then down the side of the largest cypress forest in
Europe, we decided a visit to the beach was in order today.
Preparing to go I found €7.00 in my swim bag from last year
so fab, we could spend that on sun loungers and parasol on the beach.
Then whilst waiting for the bus I found €4.50
on a bench.
Once at the beach we found a few sun loungers had been put
out but there are so few tourists they were not bothering to employ someone to
make a charge.
We had a nice snack in a shady beach bar and declared it had
no calories in it as in theory it was a free lunch!
